Welcome to New Life Chapel Kids’ Church. We thrive in “Helping Kids Become Fully Devoted Followers of Christ.” CHILDREN ARE IMPORTANT! Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me. Don't keep them away. The kingdom of heaven belongs to people like them" Matthew 19:14. 

Children are valued, loved, and are indeed a gift from God. We desire to train and disciple children of all ages to love God, His Word, and people. We want to see them follow Jesus with their whole heart, mind, soul, and strength. We want kids to walk away understanding God's Word and have a deeper relationship with Him.
Your kids will explore God's Word from Genesis to Revelation. We are here to have fun and learn. We devote time to play, worship, do crafts, and have Bible lessons.  

Our desire is, also, to help and encourage parents to train their children in the Lord. Psalm 78:5-7 says, “to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they, in turn, would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and not forget His deeds but keep His commands.”

Child Baptism

If your child has made the decision to follow Jesus, then their next step is water baptism. Water baptism is an outward picture of what Jesus has done for us on the inside of our heart. Water baptism is telling the world that we belong to Jesus.

If your child wants to be baptized in water, we encourage you to read our NLC Kids Baptism Guide with your child to talk about the meaning of water baptism and to discern if your child is ready to be baptized. If you believe they are ready to make this decision and move forward with this important step, we encourage you to partner with our NLC Kids Team by emailing us at us at newlifechapelcm@gmail.com


J12 Knott’s Berry Farm Trip

May 10, 2025 - $60 J12 4th - 6th Grade

Join us for an exciting day of adventure and team-building at Knott’s Berry Farm for 4th through 6th graders! This trip is designed to foster teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills as students navigate various fun challenges and attractions. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to build lasting friendship and create unforgettable memories! We will be meeting at the church at 8 a.m. and returning by 8 P.M. cost is $60.00 Please see Pastor Shannon if your child needed help going.

Join us for an unforgettable summer adventure at Breaker Rock Beach! Kids will explore God’s truth, discover that it never changes, and learn how to speak in love. With fun activities like tide pool adventures, kite flying, and watching the mighty breaker rock, this camp is all about diving deeper into faith and having a blast along the way!

Meet our Children's Ministry Leaders!

Pastor Shannon Rooker

Pastor Shannon, our Children's Ministry Director and Pastor. With a heart for kids and a passion for teaching God's Word, Pastor Shannon leads our ministry with vision, care, and creativity. She is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and faith-filled environment where children can grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Jonathan Teal

Jonathan serves as our 4th through 6th grade leader. He has a deep passion for leading kids to Christ and loves ministering to this age group. His heart for helping students grow in their faith shines through in everything he does.

Sharon Christianson

Sharon leads our 1st through 3rd grade group with incredible dedication. She goes above and beyond in everything she does—whether it’s organizing crafts or supporting the team to ensure things run smoothly. She has a true love for teaching kids the Word of God and helping them grow in their faith. 

Traci Havro

Tracy leads our Pre-K and Kindergarten group with so much heart and joy. She goes above and beyond to share the Word of God with our youngest kids, making every moment meaningful and full of love. 

Tina Caro

Tina is the Nursery Director for New Life Chapel. She and her team work with newborn to 3 years old in our nursery. She has a huge heart for every single one of the babies that come in and firmly believes that as Jesus' story starts with His birth, so does teaching about Him to these little ones!
